The Process

No two projects are the same, but every
collaboration follows a thoughtful rhythm:

Lead times range from 6 to 18 months, so early booking is encouraged. 2026 is full, now booking 2027 and beyond.

1. Inquire:

Complete the inquiry form. Liz’s studio manager will take care of the admin details and answer any questions along the way, while Liz follows up with a warm, no-pressure consultation call to learn more about your space, timeline, and ideas. Questions can be sent to info@lizallisonart.com.

2. Pricing:

Projects begin at a base of $50,000, which includes travel fees. The final investment is shaped by the size of the project, the intricacy of the design, and the complexity of installation conditions.

3. Design:

Once your space and subject are chosen, Liz gathers inspiration from your surroundings, stories, and favorite imagery. She’ll sketch a concept and work with you on revisions until the design feels just right.
* The deposit and contract must be completed before a sketch concept.

4. Paint:

Liz paints on-site for murals (typically 2–3 days per wall, or 6–8 business days for a full room) or from her studio for canvas commissions.

5. Enjoy:

The final result is not just a finished piece, but a transformation—a room that feels more peaceful, a wall that holds a memory, a home that welcomes you in more fully than before.

She creates a sketch of the mural and collaborates with the client to refine the design. Once approved, the mural painting typically takes 2-3 days per wall, transforming the room with its artistic touch. She enjoys collaborating with interior designers and also directly with clients.

  • Each mural is a one-of-a-kind decorative art piece, and as such, pricing is custom based on design, materials, and size. The price typically ranges from $50-100 per square foot, with the average investment starting at $40,000. A contract and non-refundable deposit are required before the project begins. She only books a limited number of spots per year.

  • Yes! Liz loves to travel for mural work. The client would cover the travel and lodging fees. The travel fee starts at $5,000. She works internationally, including England, France, Netherlands, and Canada.
